CCTV/Infosheet
Video surveillance in the building MZH
Behavior after a crime
This information sheet provides, on behalf of the Administrative Department 4 (as the operator of the CCTV system), information on the necessary steps after a criminal offence in the MZH becomes known.
Step 1: Reporting a criminal offence to the police
The criminal offence must be reported to the nearest police station as soon as possible. This step is particularly important and is the basic prerequisite for everything that follows.
Telephone numbers of the police:
| From a university phone | From a mobile phone | |
| Police emergency number | 110 | 110 |
| Police operations centre | (01) 3621754 | (0421) 3621754 |
Step 2: Inform the control room (Leitwarte)
Next, the control room (Leitwarte) of the University of Bremen must be informed about the criminal offence.
Phone numbers of the control room:
| From a university phone | From a mobile phone | |
| Emergency call | 07 | (0421) 218 07 |
| Control room (Leitwarte) | 2400 | (0421) 218 2400 |
Step 3: Inform operations managers
Finally, the operations managers of the video surveillance system must be informed so they can evaluate the image data, if necessary.
See the infopage for video surveilance for the responsible people.
Important: The video data are deleted after four days; only a limited time is therefore available for this step (act quickly!).
